In-line twin-head pump with two single-stage glanded centrifugal pumps in the same housing with switchover valve, for pipe installation or installation on a base. Housing blind flange and mounting bracket at an additional charge. Low-oscillation and low-noise monobloc design with lantern and rigidly connected standard flange motor (standard motor). With forced-flow circulation, bidirectional bellows mechanical seal and cavitation-reducing impeller. Flanges with pressure measuring connections R 1/8. The pump housing and lantern are cataphoretic-coated. Motors in IE3 technology as standard. Pumps with motors ≥ 5.5 kW are equipped as standard with a PTC thermistor sensor for motor protection. The motor terminal box ≤ 7.5 kW can be made of metal or plastic. If a metal terminal box is absolutely necessary, please order the appropriate special variant. The motor terminal boxes > 7.5 kW are always made of metal. Approved field of application *Standard version for operating pressure: 13 bar to +140 °C, 16 bar to +120 °C *Temperature range at max. ambient temperature: -20 °C – +140 °C (depending on the fluid) *Max. ambient temperature: +40 °C *Mechanical seal for pumping water up to Tmax = +140 °C. Up to T ≤ +40 °C, a glycol admixture of 20 % to 40 % by volume is permissible. An alternative mechanical seal must be provided for water-glycol mixtures with a glycol content of > 40% to max. 50% by volume and a fluid temperature of > +40 °C to max. +120 °C or other fluids that differ from water. When using water-glycol mixtures, the use of an S1 variant with a corresponding mechanical seal is generally recommended.
